There a many ways you can get involved with our Libraries Project:
Book Drive Coordinator: Book drive coordinators work with the Words Alive staff to mount a book drive to collect new and used books. Book drive coordinators may choose a book drive location or have one assigned to them. Responsibilities include setting up collection bins, handing out flyers to publicize the book drive and then collecting the book-filled bins. Time Commitment: The time commitment for a book drive coordinator varies and depends on the size of the book drive being mounted and the total number of volunteers involved, which may vary according to location and interest. Volunteers should expect to dedicate a minimum of five hours to a book drive.
Book Cataloguer: Book cataloguers sort and catalogue donated books, then package and deliver books to recipient sites. Time Commitment: Book cataloguers may choose their level of commitment, dedicating a set amount of time each week, month or one time only.
