About the Project

We’re excited to showcase these vibrant pieces of student artwork from Porter Elementary, created through our Read Aloud Program! After reading the lively book Wepa with our trained volunteers, each student received a copy to take home and brought the story to life through a hands-on craft inspired by our learning kit.

Words Alive is proud to present these creative expressions, which highlight not only the students’ imagination and engagement, but also the power of stories to spark learning, creativity, and connection beyond the classroom.
