Bookshelf for Families
Apart from spending time with participating families, developing the curriculum that inspires those families to make sharing stories a treasured and nurtured habit at home is our favorite thing to do.
The curriculum developed for the titles we read is aligned with Common Core State Standards, supports for dual language learners, the Strengthening Families Protective Factors Framework, and CREATE Learning Framework.
Our curriculum team is made up of staff with diverse teaching backgrounds and a volunteer corps of experts from the field, including past speech pathologists, award-winning principals, teachers, librarians, counselors and more.
